Beyond Chinese concept for meridian system, Bonghan theory insisted that acupuncture meridian physically existed as another circulation system named “Bonghan System” entirely differently from blood and lymph circulation. Over 9 years the new anatomical structures corresponding to Bonghan ducts and Bonghan corpuscles in Bonghan System (Primo-Vascular System) have been investigated. These days the study has been focused on the function of Primo-Vascular System (PVS). Very recently it has been revealed that the PVS functions as alternative channels for cancer metastasis. However the main function of PVS is to regenerate damaged cells and tissues with the activation of 1 μm-sized DNA particles, called Primo-Microcells. Past and present research on PVS expects that future medicine will develop toward vitalizing PVS and Primo-Microcells.
